Frisco Commons Park is a 63 acre park filled will open green fields for recreational activities. open field

This park is a veterans memorial featuring an amphitheater filled with plaques honoring each individual branch of the armed forces.

There are bike trails, walking trails and improv trails all throughout the park for exercise and recreational purposes.

The pond in the park is stocked and available for fishing! There is also a splash pad to keep the kiddos entertained while dad is fishing.

Splash Park

One of the most attractive features of this park would be the three pavilions created as a central location for large gatherings, and you can even rent them out!  Reservations must be made in person at the Frisco Athletic Center. Call 972-292-6643 to check for an availability. Reservations are accepted Mondays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. only.

Pavilion

The park was completed in 2004 and has won three awards since:

  • 2005 Park Design Excellence Award by the Texas Recreation and Park Society
  • The Metroplex’s Best Family Park by Dallas Child Magazine
  • 2008 Facility Design Award – Class II by the National Recreation and Parks Association, Southwest Regional Council
